Investigative journalism is a well established genre, with flagship shows being produced by many broadcasters and production companies. The skills needed to produce such content are very specialist and highly sough after. This course has been designed by seasoned journalists and producers who have earned their stripes in the genre over a twenty year period on shows like, BBC's Panorama, Channel 4's Dispatches, Undercover Criminal (ITN Productions, Crooked Britain, just to name a few.
Over an intense five day period of training, participants should be fully equipped to Produce and Assistant Produce on any investigative show for broadcast, (Consumer or Criminal).

In addition to the established shows like Panorama and Dispatches, etc, many other programmes like, ITV's Tonight, BBC Watchdog & Rouge Traders, consumer and criminal investigative series uncovering scams and consumer help programmes also often require a special set of investigative journalism skills. The Genre is growing rapidly, this course gives you a trained competitive advantage in your career.
Five days of intense training over 10 modules, including a large volume of practical exercises, comprehensively covers everything you need for a career as a Investigative content producer / assistant producer for broadcast.
